Wednesday Nights: Listen on Radio Dentata at 9pm EST to Sensual SEO with Lisa and Ralph

Well once again Lisa and I ‘circled the airport’ in our meandering radio talk, but I think the examples got through loud and clear. While not truly bitching (ok, maybe we were bitching a little) we were trying to hammer home the point we had hammered in the previous show: mainly, that it is important that our clients are informed. We want a potential client, even you our radio audience, to recognize, realize and ruminate over choices when choosing your social media/SEO company. Like we have said on more than one occasion and said again on this show, even if someone solicits us for business and spends an hour or more with Lisa on the initial consultation, and they still choose not to use us, at the very least we know this person went away more informed then before the call. Hey, if they want to use us, more the better (and really the reason they usually don’t use is, as Lisa has said time and again, you get what you pay for and we don’t work for free!).

Yes, I shared some good news about a book of mine being published by Renaissance eBooks, mentioned Amazon now selling this very blog for Kindle

and how two of our latest Press Releases got read by PlayboyRadio and the clients we did them for have been contacted for an interview on that XM/Sirius giant. So things aint’ so bad.

And shit dude, I only mentioned Pyrex dildos once!

Internext, Teaching and being an Informed Consumer

So it’s twats, twits, tweets and twirling on this episode of our radio show. I kind of had to lay low as I don’t have Facebook or Twitter nor will I be signing up anytime soon. But this doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the importance of all these applications in the social media circus that is our business and I let Lisa run with the ball on this episode as she walks our listeners through Twitter, how to use it and why. I do chime in, in my usual inaffective way, but I think Lisa gives a good overall view of Twitter and by association Facebook and MySpace on this new show.

As always, I am ever amazed at how much she knows…mmmwwwa, there I am accused of kissing her shapely butt again, but it’s true. She keeps
up and knows her stuff, so as usual I learn as much as I listen.

Post Cybernet Expo Show on Radio Dentata @9pm EST, Wed.

So Lisa and I do the Cybernet recap, as I feel we will be doing a Cybernet recap for quite a few shows (we have some possibilities on interviews with peeps we met at Cybernet but we don’t give anything away yet). Really, it’s probably the most free-wheeling show we have ever done, but it all relates as Cybernet was about B2B in this adult business thing we all do. Writers like me and Lisa (well Lisa’s much more than just a writer as anyone who went to her class at the convention will attest), Internet billing sites, talent (well, we’re all talent actually) and those great guys Jay and Connor; we give you the real skinny on what went down when we went down to Frisco for the convention. In our usual fashion there is some self depricating humor, great stories and the usual name dropping. But what we wanted to impress upon those who were not there was how much you should have been and for those who were, a great big radio hug. We explain pannels and classes too, what one should expect when attending them and Lisa’s personal experience with putting her class together and executing same. Like I said, this will not be the first show about Cybernet, I am sure.

If you follow our Sensual SEO show on Radio Dentata, then you know that Ralph and I decided to put this blog up to show that the online marketing techniques we discuss on our show we actually use! Well there is no other proof than what happened yesterday!

We received a phone call from a potential client who said he found our site. I asked, "Oh our PearlyWrites site?" He said, "No your Adult Organic SEO site."

I may say pretty damn impressive on our part! The site has been up for 3 weeks! We ranked it organically in an adult niche market which seems to be increasing in competition every month. AND this is why we stress keywords and blogging on every show! I am telling you it works when you do it and give it a chance!

What does this mean? It shows that listening to our Sensual SEO show on Radio Dentata at 9pm EST. on Wednesday’s is a MUST to rank your adult site organically!

Well Lisa and I were at it again. Another of our Sensual SEO radio shows was broadcast over RadioDentata Wed night and we were off to the races talking about all things social media. Funny how we set up pretty particular notes for these shows, go over what we’re gonna get into before hand, but there is so much stuff to cover and Lisa and I really have such a good rapport we start talking and man can we ever go off.

What we wanted to do and what I think we are doing is presenting information in an entertaining way. This time around we got into the ethics of web developers, how you really should look around, research who you want to use and make sure their sensibilities (not to mention the programs they use) are in keeping with what you want and also how you should track what your doing-Lisa had a lot of info on that, let me tell you. We even got into the actual how’s and why’s of keywords, stuff I didn’t know all that well when I first started out doing this.

Like Lisa always says and I agree, no use doing any of this; developing a website, hiring copywriters and designers; trying to bring traffic to you and not keep track of what’s working and what isn’t. That’s why we try to reiterate in each show (at least at the beginning) what we have talked about previously and really it’s what our Sensual SEO show is all about…how to use online marketing to your utmost, in execution of keywords blogging etc. and keeping track of how well those techniques and programs work.

Oh yeah, there was the usual am’t of pyrex dildo and rabbit vibrator talk to.

Lisa has her say…FINALLY!

The show started off as Ralph and I always do by doing a recap of the previous shows and discussing Organic SEO. Then we dove right into blogging and using the Open Source platform of WordPress and I shared some of my favorite plug-ins. Then we touched upon your WordPress blog entries "hitting your Twitter" where I just started laughing as I wasn’t expecting this out of Ralph’s mouth. It was quite funny. The pro term would be the blog entries "ping" your Twitter.

Then when we returned from commercial break we had some more information regarding blogging and how to go about it in regards to writing copy to tagging your videos and pics so they are optimized for the search engines. From this point Ralph and I fell into our "friendship mode" of speaking where we began making fun of each other about Pyrex Dildos and Rabbit Vibrators as these two products we tend to always use in our examples mainly because we have written so many descriptions about them…though Ralph thinks it’s another reason. Whatev…

Boy are we getting good…

Seriously, I feel this 2nd show had a lot more humor, maybe a few of those running-off into the wild tangents moments from both Lisa and I, but it was fun and more focused. We did the ol’ recap from the week before and Lisa gave me a chunk of time to compare writing fiction for SEO as opposed to writing fiction for fiction sake. She went over some more ‘nuts and bolts’ of SEO/Net marketing, which I think is one of the big strengths of our show. Lisa really does have a lot of knowledge (and no I am not kissing her booty here as I have been accused of doing) and she relates things pretty simply so even an idiot like me can understand; I am coming to realize there is a lot of info we have to depart so I am happy we have the 12 shows!

We got into blogging about midway through and we knew this was going to be a big subject. I played devils a’, admitting my ignorance (which I will do a lot in the course of the shows I am sure) but we got into it as much as time allowed….there’s so much to say about blogging really. Overall it was a fun show, we certainly seem to be loosening-up and I think our personalities, not to mention our overall admiration for each other, is coming through, all in the context of a nice light show. I really can’t believe we get an hour out, we get to speaking and the time goes by so fast!
